Heartbeart of Rural Australia Research Study
In September 2021, FRRR commissioned the Heartbeat of Rural Australia study, exploring how not-for-profits and community groups in remote, rural and regional Australia are faring, in the wake of nearly two years of constant disruptions. Annual Review 2020-2021: Adapting and Evolving
Our 2020/2021 Annual Review is a reflection on an incredible year of adapting and evolving to support remote, rural and regional communities. While we are proud of what we have achieved as a team despite the challenges of COVID-19, it really speaks volumes about the tenacity and commitment of local leaders in these communities, who continued to help their communities adapt to whatever nature sent their way, including, for many, recovering from the 2019/20 Black Summer bushfires.
Thank you to all the individuals from community groups and not-for-profits in remote, rural and regional Australia who shared their insights in our research survey. You can explore the findings now.
Once again, FRRR is ready to support the recovery of communities in rural QLD and rural New South Wales that are experiencing the current November 2021 flood emergencies. Can you contribute?
Our SRC program provides flexible funding so community leaders can address whatever issues they face. This could range from enhancing local community meeting places to providing resources for a kinder, or even transport for the elderly.
Together, we can achieve incredible results
including more than…

for learning, education
for building community
