FY24 Annual Review

Published December 2024

FY24 was a record year of granting and partnerships, with FRRR awarding $25.4M via 1,188 grants to 579 postcodes across the country. The $39.4M received by FRRR through our partnerships, and the generosity of many, is a reflection of the strength of our shared commitment to the social and economic vitality of remote, rural and regional Australia.

These funds have been put to work by incredible local people and not-for-profit organisations who are driving solutions in meaningful, practical and impactful ways.

Beyond money, we distilled and shared many valuable and unique insights via policy submissions; contributions to research; and through presentations to diverse stakeholders. Pleasingly, we also saw the influence of some of our insights.

We are very grateful to all of FRRR’s supporters and partners in philanthropy, business and government, as well as the countless individuals who put their trust in FRRR to get funding to where it will make a difference to grassroots communities.

As you can read in the Review, the impact is substantial. This report is a celebration of all of the community leaders who step up day after day to make inland Australia such a wonderful place to live, work, play and learn.

We hope that the stories in this year’s annual review inspire you and help to reinforce the power of investing in locally led solutions for lasting impact in remote, rural and regional communities.
