Victorian Bushfire Recovery Grants Announced

Bendigo, 8 August 2017: Today 16 community groups received funding to support the long-term recovery and resilience of communities affected by the 2009 Victorian bushfires.

Supported by the Victorian Bushfire Appeal fund, the 16 community groups will share in $152,046 across two grant programs to implement locally led projects.

Bushfire Recovery Grant

The Grants for Resilience & Wellness (GR&W) program recognises that an important part of community recovery is having opportunities to connect, share experiences, enhance individual and community wellbeing and resilience.

The Community Group Futures (CGF) program is designed to help community groups  look forward and build their organisational sustainability, viability, capability and capacity.
