Amy Crawford, Donna Digby, Kylie Hansen and David Hardie strengthen governance of national foundation
FRRR is pleased to announce the appointment of four new Directors to the FRRR Board. FRRR connects common purposes and funding from government, business and philanthropy with the genuine local needs of rural people and places.

FRRR Chairman, Tim Fairfax AC, said that the wealth of experience that Amy Crawford (ACT), Donna Digby (NT), Kylie Hansen (WA) and David Hardie (NSW) bring will be an important asset, as the Foundation celebrates 25 years of supporting remote, rural and regional communities.
“We are thrilled to welcome our newest Directors. I have every confidence that the leadership skills and strategic vision they offer will be invaluable, as we continue our work empowering local leaders to create vibrant, sustainable and resilient communities.
“Amy has more than 20 years’ experience in the Australian Public Service and brings deep understanding of government policies and structures.
“Donna is driven to support community leaders to reach their leadership potential by drawing on her lived experience and brings deep understanding of both regional and remote Australia.
“Meanwhile Kylie’s strengths are in sustainability, governance and harnessing impact measurement to support collaborative initiatives across sectors working to improve social outcomes.
“And finally, with extensive volunteer experience as well as having worked in philanthropy himself, David is deeply respected for his commitment to listening to, encouraging, and responding to those on the frontline of not-for-profits,” Mr Fairfax said.
Mr Fairfax said the skillsets of each new Director supports the long-term vision of the organisation and would contribute to effectively supporting community groups to strengthen their capacity and sustainability.
“Each of our new Directors brings notable assets to FRRR and I believe their input will be integral to shaping our organisation in the coming years. We are very fortunate to be able to draw on their substantial expertise and further strengthen our Board,” Mr Fairfax said.
In addition to Tim Fairfax AC and the four Directors mentioned above, the other members of FRRR’s board are Sue Middleton (Deputy Chair), James Flintoft, Anne Grindrod, David Mackay, William Myer and Georgie Somerset AM.
