Sally Foundation Trailblazers Development Fund

The Sally Foundation and ABC have partnered with FRRR to support the delivery of the Sally Foundation Trailblazers Development Fund.

Trailblazers attended the annual ABC Heywire Regional Youth Summit, where they received leadership and communications training and presented their projects on the ABC and at Parliament House. This funding opportunity is about investing in these young regional leaders to build their leadership skills, and their capacity to make a difference in their communities. This year’s program invited Trailblazers from the 2024 and 2025 cohorts to apply for funding.

These grants were available thanks to the generous support of the Sally Foundation. A total pool of $40,000 was available in this round, and targeted applicants were invited to apply for a grant up to a maximum of $8,000.

Trailblazers applied for funding for:

  • Project development opportunities to support applicants to take their vision to the next level;
  • Personal development opportunities to build skills and/or networks to increase the individual’s capacity to strengthen their community or regional communities more broadly, and associated with a project vision;
  • Small assets to increase the impact, reach or sustainability of the program (Note: Assets remain property of the partner not-for-profit organisation).

Applications to the 2025 program are now being assessed, with grants awarded in late June.

This is an invitation-only program and details of how to apply will be sent to you via email, if you are eligible.
