Mycelia Renewables Ltd – Energy Collective

Mycelia operates as a social enterprise and their focus is to support and enable rural business and community initiatives to participate in and benefit from the circular economy. Their Energy Collective project is comprised of households and small and medium businesses working together to create a community leading the transition to a true regenerative economy. The Collective helps reduce barriers some people face to accessing locally produced renewable energy while redistributing funds into other local renewable initiatives. The model ensures the transition to renewable energy is equitable for all members of the community. Focus communities for this project are Bass Coast and South Gippsland, although the virtual grid can be accessed by other Victorian community members. Donations will support project activities.
