The focus of The Diggers Foundation is the conservation, protection, and enhancement of botanical and ecological habitats, historic gardens and buildings, and cultural heritage. They are raising funds to ensure seed diversity into the future by preserving heirloom seeds through a careful process including cultivation, digital recording, and dry-conditioned storage.
