2020 Bushfire Recovery Media releases: 31 March 2021

FRRR, in partnership with News Corp Australia, has awarded $279,940 in grants to support 12 projects in communities impacted by the Black Summer bushfires.

“Thankyou for building a park in Woolomin for us kids.”

In the drought declared town of Woolomin, NSW, the local kids had nowhere safe to meet and play outside of school. The Tamworth Regional Council partnered with the Woolomin Recreation Reserve Committee to bring the local school children’s dreams (and designs!) to life, with the support of $15000 through the Tackling Tough Times Together program.
