Since 2013, the FRRR ABC Heywire Youth Innovation Grants program has supported remote, rural and regional youth to address issues that matter most to them. This year, thanks to the generosity of FRRR’s partners, $130,000 is available nationally, and $30,000 is available specifically for grants in or around the Shepparton region.

Rural mental health initiatives given a funding boost

Remote, rural and regional communities across Australia can apply now for grants through FRRR’s In a Good Place (IAGP) program to support community-driven activities focused on mental health and wellbeing. Offered in partnership with CCI giving, there is $200,000 available through grants of up to $20,000 for projects that support vulnerable community members at risk of, or experiencing, mental health issues.
FRRR and CCI Giving make further five-year commitment to rural mental health

The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) and CCI Giving have agreed to a five-year extension to their partnership and national grants program, In a Good Place (IAGP). This means that the grant program will now run until at least 2027.
FRRR welcomes extension of DGR1 to Rural Community Foundations

FRRR has today welcomed the extension of DGR-1 status for the country’s regional Community Foundations, which was confirmed in Tuesday night’s Budget announcements. This special status means that they can now directly receive tax deductible donations from a broader range of donors to support more place-based philanthropy, which FRRR has long-championed.
