The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR), in collaboration with a number of donor partners, is supporting 46 inspirational projects from around Australia with a share of $342,620 in the first distribution of its Strengthening Rural Communities Small & Vital grants program.

FRRR and CCI Giving are now inviting applications to Round 2 of the In a Good Place grants program to support projects that improve mental health in rural, regional and remote communities Australia-wide. Grants of up to $20,000 from an annual pool of $200,000. $100,000 is available for Round 2.
Grants continue to support regrowth in the wake of Black Saturday fires

Thirty-six community projects that will assist the continued recovery of communities impacted by the Black Saturday Bushfires will receive funding totalling $555,963. The groups are the latest recipients of the Grants for Resilience and Wellness (GR&W) and Community Group Futures (CGF) programs.

Grassroots mental health initiatives receive a $200,000 boost

FRRR has awarded 14 grants to community groups across rural, regional and remote Australia to help fund initiatives that will improve mental health support in those communities. In total, thanks to support from CCI Giving, the groups will share $200,000. The projects funded include general information sessions, specific advice services and targeted support services.
Education the big winner in cotton community grants

As part of the National Agriculture Day celebrations, Bayer today celebrated the hardworking Australian cotton growers who have secured $750,000 for their local communities over the past five years through the Aussie Cotton Farmers Grow Communities (ACFGC) grants program sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer.

Four health service projects receive big boost

Four organisations share in over $475,000 in Enhancing Country Health Outcomes (ECHO) grants. The program supports organisations to implement vital health services in rural and regional communities in NSW and Victoria.
