FRRR and TFFF – an enduring partnership

The Tim Fairfax Family Foundation has been an ardent supporter of FRRR since it first partnered with us on the Rural Education Program in 2003. Seventeen years later, we sat down to have a chat with Sam Jorgenson, TFFF's Executive Officer, to get her insights on what it's like to partner with FRRR to support rural, regional and remote communities.

Double the space, double the history in Lockhart

The Lockhart & District Historical Society used an FRRR fundraising account and a $15,000 grant from the Culture, Arts, Tourism and Community Heritage (CATCH) grants program allowed the Historical Society to purchase the adjoining property and expand their offerings to include hosting events.

Investing in Rural Community Futures helps NSW communities on the way to a more vibrant future

Community groups in five New South Wales locations will share in $300,000 in Start-Up Grants through the Investing in Rural Community Futures (IRCF) program. The program is a partnership between the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) and the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation (VFFF) focused on helping local community groups increase their capacity.
